Of what a nice tangerine albino hondo needs to look like. Thin defined white bands with wide Bright Orange ones. I'm not going to say any names (nobody I've bought from) but a breeder I've contacted twice this year sent me pics of yellowish banded albinos claiming they were great tangerines. I guess you have to watch when purchasing albinos because of the big difference in price between tri-colors and tangies.
Thanks, just wanted to share!!

Thankyou, you must not have seen Lambert's albinos. You'll see the offspring on here in a couple years(by then they should be worth a couple dollars).

Dave,
That is a very nice Tangerine Albino from Rick Slack indeed. You may find that when they are young that the white does look nice but as they get older the white may not stay as white and change to a light yellow color. I thinks this happens more often than the ones that do keep the white bands.
Here is a yearling from Terry Dunham that has started the color change and I like it very much. Just something to watch as they grow.
Yours is a nice new little one so enjoy.
Kind Regards,
Adam

Yes I've seen that before Adam. I guess thats why some snows develop yellow where the black would be. My other yearlings (1.1) are staying nice and white but we'll just see what happens. It depends upon what strain your albinos have originated from.
Thanks for your reply!!
