I hear diff things with these tanks. Some say it has flaws, and some say its a good tank. What flaws are there? If there are can you fix it?

I have one, its not populated yet. Still furnishing it. It is the 18X18X24 model. I have read on other postings that some have leaky bases. Easy to fix with silicone. Other modifications are necessary for keeping Fruit Flies in. First is to snap out the vent at the bottom of the doors and fasten fine screen in, then snap the vent back. The next is to apply tape at the hinge side of the doors. It is applied on one side of the door, then wraped around to the other side, leaving a small bulge on the door's edge. This seals the gap to prevent escape. The last is to cover most of the screen top with plexi to help with the humidity. I bought a mini-light to fit on top.

Hope this helps. Search the web for other ideas.
