blue crested

where do you get blue crested geckos from. i saw a picture of one in the reptiles usa magazine but i can't find anyone who sells one and i have been searching everyewhere

Unfortunately no one sells them, because there are none. That photo was of an animal that was in shed, and when the photo was processed, the animal looked blue. In reality that animal is not that color.

there ARE blue cresteds(Emerson), but no one sells them (I think)...

Youkai you are right there is no such thing as a blue crested gecko, but some one always brings up this picture. Even Allen has joked about it before (and the guys has bred thousands im sure he would have seen the trait by now). The animal just happens to be light and as I am sure you know they can lighten and darken quite a bit. Pretty gecko, but def not blue.

Actually if you join emersons crested group there are more pictures of that crested and its actually a dark brown color where the blue is. All the pattern is still the same though which makes it look damn kool.
