This is a picture of a Super Pastel Black Pewter.

This is an animal that hatched out here a few days ago. It hatched out of an eight egg clutch from a Black Pewter to a Pastel Jungle. Two Pastels, two Black Pastels, two Black Pewters, one normal, and one Silver Streak hatched out. I could not be any happier with the results.
I use the term Silver Streak instead of Sterling (the name given to the Super Pastel Pewter that Mark Mandic of Marcus Jayne Ball Pythons produced) because, as Mark and I discussed earlier the two mutations look totally different.
I have for years been producing a bloodline of animals that I call the Black Pastel. They are a darker black and vibrant rust orange compared the light browns and pinks of Cinnamon Pastels. They are genetically compatible with Cinnamon Pastels. The two bloodlines have produced Super Cinnamons, Silver Bullets and a number of other interesting things when taken to each other. I believe that they are just different color variants of the same mutation and their offspring exhibit these differences.
Here are a couple of pictures showing the variety of animals that hatched out in this clutch and the stark contrast of Black Pastels and Black Pewters.
I hope you enjoy them. Thanks
