Found a couple Eastern Milks this week. The first one turned up at the loading dock outside my work on Sunday in Westwood, MA This was had quite a bit of brown for its size

The second one was found the next day in Connecticut. It was under a board on the porch of a run-down, abandoned house. This one is a little smaller than the first and shed last night. It has more of the juvenile coloring.

Nice finds indeed. I spent my entire childhood trying to find those guys in Western NY and came up empty. Nice catches.

looks remotely like a cornsnake.....imo

Nice looking little snakes. I have always liked the NA milks, and find them all attractive.
Here are my 2 KY native Eastern X Red intergrades. Due to the intergradation, they are extremely variable and are a joy to find when out in the field!!
This is one that has more triangulum influence...
This one has more syspila influnce...

Those look great and good sized too! I like the Red Milks as it appears they keep the nice colors the juvenile Easterns start out with. Some adult Easterns can look nice but there is nothing like the red on white color of the babies. Thanks for sharing the picts!
they are on the move
