sharing the habitat

Hey everybody, I was thinking about maybe getting 2 or 3 gecko's and was wondering if they would be able to get along or not? I was thinking about getting 1 med. gecko, 1 flying gecko, and 1 tokay gecko. For the habitat i will either use my aquarium i have now (don't know how many gallons but it appears to be big) or buy a 38 gallon or 65 gallon reptarium evn tho that seems kind of big for keeping gecko's in. Thanks for the help

Everything should be ok untill the tokay outgrows the other geckos and kills them : If you want a community tank you should pass on that tokay. A 38 would make a great community tank but it tends to get crammed if you put natural plants and lots of hiding spaces. Bigger the better....I just got a free 80 so I put my tokay in there but thats simply because its free

Thanks for the info, guess i will pass on the tokay for now, maybe get one later and put it into a seperate cage. Is there any other type of gecko that would live well with 2 others? or maybe I will just try 2.

What kind of geckos do you want? Most geckos work ok together just make sure the humidity/temperature match. Find some that you like and ask here if they would work. I've dealt with many community setups since I work at a petshop so I can probably help you out with that.

Well i know i will probably be getting a Mediterranean gecko. For the other 1 or 2 gecko's i was mainly thinking between 5. The 5 are a flying gecko, fan footed gecko, crested gecko, african flat tail gecko, and a gold dust day gecko. I'm probably thinking the african flat tail gecko would be my 1st choice for the 2nd gecko.
