Whats the difference between a Ghost and Anerythristic

JDalbo Sep 21, 2005 04:02 PM

I'm new to milksnakes and was wondering what is the difference between these two? Do the ghost milks get the "dirty" look to them as they mature or do they keep the crisp color of grey, white, and black? I've only seen pictures of juvenile ghosts and the adult anerythristic's appear to get alot of black tipping on the scales. Can someone please posts some pics of adult ghosts so I can see how they will look? thanks

Yes the ghosts are double mutation(color morph). Anery is lacking red pigment, and Hypo is lacking some or most of the black pigment. Usually ghosts will show tipping with age in the lighter banding(were the yellow or orange would be on a normal)but the white should stay clean maybe a little peppering.
