Chlorhexadine on crocodilians?

I was wondering if anyone has ever used chlorhexadine on any crocodilian wounds? I know a number of reputable reptile keepers and handlers that use this stuff from time to time on minor injuries to clean and disinfect the wounds. It is also good for disinfecting caging, etc. I was wondering if anyone has ever used it on their crocs and how effective it was or did it have any negative effects?
