My pac-mans cage has become a cricket incubator. I found a newly hatched cricket in there yesterday. How wierd. This happened to any of you guys?

Haha, yeah its happened to me too in my box turtle cage. The moist and warm bed-a-beast is great for cricket eggs to incubate in. Any left over crickets that some how avoided your horned frog probably found it a great place to lay their eggs during the night. Talk to you later,

Do box turtles eat crickets?

hecktick_punker Jul 20, 2003 09:31 AM

Yeah, for sure. Box turtles are omnivores and love chasing crickets or tearing apart night crawlers. The majority of their diet should be greens and other veggies but live food can be offered once or twice a week. Ornate box turtles are more carnivorous than easterns. Talk to you later,
