Turtles as Carnival Prizes

Turtles are appearing as carnival prizes in VA, MD and PA. THis is illegal in PA and MD and there is a proposed bill to ban this in VA.

I'm doing home checks all day today and Sunday in MD. Where are the carnivals in MD that are giving away sliders? I can contact my state vet - DNR usually confiscates them and gives them to another rescue to be placed out of state.
