Are most baby womas real jumpy and nervous. When might this stop.do they calm down with age or handling.
This is my first year with Womas and I am noticing that they are very suspicious of anything that moves in to there line of sight. They seem to like to cock back and even sometimes flatten their head and neck out in a bluffing gesture if you move up on them, mine are going on 3 months and my other pair were early so they are 4-5 months and they seem to be getting used to me. I just let them know its me with calm and deliberate movements and that seems to work well. I did find out one thing however and thats to never have rodent smell on my fingers. LOL
Hope this helps
