My snake is a wild Mountain Kingsnake which I caught about 4 mos ago. Since then he has shed twice with no problems the first time, and second came after I moved him to a larger encloser which was made of wood. It was too dry and I wasn't able to achieve the correct humidity. Second shed took much longer than it should have and I was starting to worry. I did all the things I've read to help him and when it actually started flaking all over, I got him into room temperature(little warmer)water and lightly rubbed it off. A day or two later he was fine. That was about 2-3 weeks ago. Skin was very shiny and bright. Now the problem is about 3 days ago he completely stopped being active (which is unusual for him) and his skin is very dull, dry, and his eyes are very cloudy and blue. I think this is too soon to be shedding again. I moved him out of that wood tank permanently and increased the humidity. What else can or should I do for him? Will he shed again so soon? Will he be okay? I don't want him to die. Please help someone if you can?
Thank you very much
