Hi all , would you possible tell me what's the numbers meaning below :

1.0.0

0.0.1

2.0

1.1

or more ?

My friend told me the numbers wirh species name is meaning their sex . Therefore , I don't know what's the numbers meaning about sex . Please answer me or show me some web sites about this .

The first number indicates the number of Males. The second number is for Females and the third number represents unknown sex.

1.2.3 would be 1 male, 2 females and 3 unknown. Hope this helps.

I am sorry , but I can't inderstand all you wrote . You wrote the first number indicate of males , second of females and third of unknow sex . Therefore , if the numbers are used for indicate their sex , why the need 3 numbers ? 1 is male , 2 is female amd 3 is unknow . One animal will only has 1 sex (Everyone knows ... including children ....)

Why they need 3 numbers in different place for indicate the amimal sex ?

2.5.7 (2 males 5 females 7 unknown sex)
3.4.2 (3 males 4 females 2 unknown sex)
1.1.5 (1 male 1 female 5 unknown sex)

The first digit represents the number of males.
The second digit represent the number of females.
The third digit represents the number of unknown sex.

As you wrote , if a dealer has a kind of animal for sale , he wrote :

"2.5.7 Lartin name"

Is it means he has 2 males , 5 females and 7 unknow sex ? So , the number on each digit is means quantity of the animal ?
