Looking for rat snake breeder

herper_ Sep 22, 2005 08:06 AM

Hi

Ive been looking for the following species of rat snakes for a while now with no success:

1.Mandarin
2.Russian (schrencki schrencki )
3.Leopard (situla )

Im resident in the UK and have not had any luck in trying to procure some specimens for my private collection.

I would be willing to hear from exporters/breeders either in Europe/US who have stock available.

Thanks

There are leopards/mandarins for sale in the classifieds now.Russians are really hard to find.Ive been trying for years to get a pair. You might email the people in the classifieds to see if they ship around the globe.

Prairieland Herpetoculture usually has mandarins and leopards. I think I've seen them with russians too on occasion. They sell a lot of the off the wall rat snake species. I know for certain they have the mandarins and leopards as they had hatchlings for sale at the Mid-Atlantic Reptile the other weekend.

Thank you for the replies so far, however just to reiterate i am living in the UK and would pbviously need someone who was prepared to export.

Not sure if the above individuals you mentioned do, and have sent them emails enquiring but if anyone specifically knows someone reputable who exports 'exotic' ratsnakes pls post a link or email for the contact.

Hello herper,
I have a few rat snake friends in Germany, I will send you their names and e-mails. I hope to have some Russian babies for sale here soon, not sure of how many i will end up with though. I am sending a shipment to Germany actually in November, maybe you can work something out with my friend over there and get a pair of the Russians this year.

Have a good day, and good luck with your search!

Gregg F.
