Can you ID this snake for me?

I found this little guy in my yard this morning in southeastern Virginia. I don't know anything about snakes, but I THINK it's a Norhtern Black Racer judging by pics I've found online. Is that correct? Thanks for the help.

I would say thats right. Thats what it looks like.
