Eggs Starting To Hatch Out!! Opinions Please.!!!!!

latin1956 Sep 22, 2005 10:32 AM

After 73 days they are starting to come out. I cut the 7 eggs at 68 days to make sure they were okay. This morning several had their heads out. I breed a Anery possible het ablino to a double het for snow. Well as far as I can see no albinos, but I have 2 anery, 1 tricolor and the rest I thing are just normal looking tangerines. I will be able to tell better once they are out. Let me know what you think, what would the babies be as far as het for this or that. Here are some pictures

Nice to see them hatch, they look good.
What you would have are the following-
Anerys pos het albino
Normals would be 100% het anery and pos het albino.
Enjoy,

great looking group man congrats.
about the genetic, if the female realy is het albino.

all the normals looking babys are:
normals het anery 66% het albino
all anerys are 66% het albino
and all albinos coming out of this breeding will be het anery.

the chances are that one of four babys will show the albino gene, but i wouldn't lose hope yet if i was you. there is a chance the female is het albino and just the luck was against you this time.

but if the female isn't het albino:
all normals are het anery and 50% het albino.
all anerys are 50% het albino.

in both cases the anery gene was suppose to been shown in half of the babys.

hope that help and sorry about the english.
Nevo

BTW if there's any mistakes plz let me know.
