Hi all,
Just thought this forum might like to know that I have recently been working with breeding and gut-loading the brown house spider. I have several nice egg sacs in their tank ready to hatch, about five captive-bred babies, and seven adults set up in their community. I have been feeding them high-nutrient gut load, and nutritious wax worms. I am keping these spiders clean, well-fed and healthy. I am hoping to breed this species until I have a stock that is comprable to farm-raised crickets. I am glad at how well this has been going so far, and hope that it works out. This is a good species to domesticate, and is great for:
Hook-nosed snakes
smooth and rough green snakes
Sonoran and Western shovel-nosed snakes
ground snakes, banded sand snakes...
And lots more!
