Those who have bred a snow het ghost and a ghost het snow together: I picked up such a pair this year was just thinking of the likelihood of each type of offspring. With hh = hypo, Hh = het for hypo, ww = whitesided, Mm = het amel and mm amel, represent a ghost het snow as hhwwMm and a snow het ghost as Hhwwmm. 1/4 of the babies would be hhwwmm, and I'm wondering if you can tell any difference between these and snows. It seems like the amel gene would mask the hypo gene and there wouldn't be any difference in appearance, but I wasn't sure. If so, they would be snows "het" ghost, but they are in fact homozygous ghost also. Anybody?
