If you were to breed a ghost (hypo whitesided) bull to a hypo stillwater (golden is just a term and doesn't mean anything except that somebody wanted to be different or wanted theres to move faster or something?)then you should get a clutch off 100% normals that are all het for whitesided and two strains of hypo.
Now,If the stillwaters have been outcrossed themselfs and I saw alot of them in Daytona this year (golden comes to mind)then it already has the "generic"hypo line in it as well.So in the clutch you would see some visual generic hypos and they would be het for whitesided and het for the second line of hypo (stillwater).
You can always pick out a true stillwater by looking at the tops of there heads,They have very little to no pattern at all. When you see people advertise stillwaters and they look pretty normal as hypos and the tops of the heads are all busy and speckled and then you start asking questions you usually get the old"oh well I lost one of the adults a few years back so I just bred it to a normal hypo and I kept back a couple of the females and these are the offspring from those?"
We saw it twice on tables this year in Big D.
Buyer beware when buying the hypo stillwater if the pure stillwater is what you want.
