How about a L shaped cage?

rowad Jul 19, 2003 02:43 PM

I need to make a cage while I'm waiting to sell my home. It's taking a bit longer then what I thought.
Is an L shaped cage just as good as a long cage?? I can make room for a 10 foot L shaped cage or a 6 foot straight one..which shoud I shoot for (until I move and givethem their own room)?

Thanks

An "L-Shaped" cage is fine. Actually one of ours is an L.
5.5' x 33" at one leg, and 22" x 5' the other leg. This houses 3 sub-adults and works well for ours. We do however take ours out every day or just abouts for a few hours to roam. You want to make sure though the temp gradients are okay however, which may be a big more difficult in the L shaped cage....depending on material used etc.

Good luck!!!

Greg
