Hi and welcome. Could you tell me about your chameleon setup as I am thinking about getting one and I noticed yours are veiled. Those are really mean from what I've heard. Do you have any other ones?

yemen/veiled chameleons arnt a mean species, or non of the ones ive delt with have been anyway.

the veiled get to around 18-24" when fully grown (including tail) for a single animal the minimum size viv i would recommend would be 24*18*12. this gives the animal plenty of floor space aswell as a good depth for climbing.
for two or more animals (ideal would be say 1 male 2 female) i would recommend a 36*36*15 tank, this would easily house 3 adult specimens and give them room to get away from each other should they wish to do so.

you should have a heat mat on the bottom of the tank on the INSIDE of the tank, covered with a slate. then place your braches/plants etc inside, over head you want AT LEAST a 5% ubv tube, a 7/8% would be better.this will need to be protected. and should be on for approx 12 hours a day. then depending on the depth of the tank, you will also want one or two over head spots, i find for a 36*36 tank, 2 60w blubs work well. i recommend fixing these up on a frame work outside the tank to that there is no way the animals can come into contact with them, but are still getting sufficient heat from them.

but this is just my 20p worth

Well I was thinking for my dads and I's new business( grammer?) we could get a chameleon. He's more of a snake guy while I always will like snakes more I like others as well. He really wants a chameleon I mean really really. Here is a supllies list that we are thinking about but we don't know what kind to get. It can't be that a word I think it was Asocial? My dad will not get something that would be sorry for saying this, but mean enough to have no problem biting us. I know all chameleons are Asocial but can you tell me the least Asocial one. The list is:65 Gallon basic Reptarium
65 Gallon Reptarium softtray
Reptile rope vine SINGLE STRAND ¼ inch diameter 6 foot length Large Amazonian Phyllo and Malaysian Fern
The Big Dripper
3 Frog (mood) moss and Feather moss
Misty Mountain Volcano
Precision Analog Thermometer & Precision Humidity
2 10 inch Deep Dome Reflector

The lightbulb is a given and we can get the heat pad but do you know of a good cham that can live in this? The plants are fake and I know they need branches. The only thing He really is worrying about is the temp and humidity. I think I have the humidity squared away and the temp at a maybe with a heat pad and two basking lights. He is just so worried that they are gonna die really easy because we don't have the temp or humidity. It won't be anytime soon because(grammer?) we are doing sands first, then rosy rubber, eventually up to an albino burmese. They like to plan ahead, but I'm trying to get him to get a little into lizards or chenoins(grammer?). Also whenyou say 36*36*12 you don't mean inches do you? I figured that would be kinda tight for something that should be 24 inches in lenght but what do you feed them? I heard crickets and mealworms but just to be sure. Sorry so long and notice my unusually bad grammer. Thanks, bye

hey sorry for the late responce first i would not recomend keeping more than one vieled in an enclosure that size i wouldnt recomend keeping multiple vields in nothing short of complete room or greenhose i think of it like this there are many diferent meathods to cham husbandry what i do when i hav a ? go to the experts i recomend chris anderson author of chameleon news online e-zine he is an expert in the field and has studied chams in the wild as well as far as i know the only chams that are slightly at best are the leaf/stump tailed chams like brooksia hope this helps
