Any One KNoW? How To get Him to Eat Stuff Other THen Crickets????? HES a SissYY

I have had my young ackie monitor for around 6-7 months and he eats well on crickets... but since everyone know that they need different things to stay healthy, I have been trying to feed him other things. I have tried... canned Monitor diet By ZooPreem, Choped pinky, live pinky, Choped quail.... He is scared of the live pinky and is not interested in the rest... will he start to show more interest with time? If so, how can i get him more interested? I want what is best for him, so any help is great. Thanks!
