ok so ill cut to the chase...i lost power the other day and didn't get it back till about 12:00pm the next day. ever since then my corn does not come out of his hide.. i have been leaving him alone for a couple days so he could re-adjust but he still hasn't come out..it was only 1 day and it was at least 70 degrees in here..should i worry?

the only other time he was this secretive was when he was in shed so time will tell i guess...any suggestions or comments please post

i wouldnt worry either i very seldom see my corns go where the heat is.......

ok thats good! but should i wait for him to come out before i disturb him just in case he is in shed?

there shouldn't be any problem with disturbing him. Just be cautious because he might get nervous since he won't be able to see very well

well, you will know if he is going blue, i know about when mine go into shed about a week before, they start to look a little hazy.
but if mine are hiding i still check them, to see they are ok... but i worry any way.
funny i sleep like a rock, never hear my phone ring if i am a sleep, dont even even hear if some one is at the door.... but if one of my animals makes a peep i am up checking them.

So i checked on him and sure enough he is blue..but since i bothered him already i figured i would hold him and see if he wanted to eat..i think he was a dog in his past life the way he gobbles up pinkys lol..check this pic out..kinda dark but was a last minute shot, just shows that he starts eating and wont let me put him down lol

thats great, neither of mine will eat while they are in shed.

yea he loves to eat!!! makes life easy for both of us
