My Rosalia's just hatched! and it only took 113 days. What do you think of them

dangerdan Sep 24, 2005 01:08 AM

These little babies are awesome. I thought the eggs went bad they shrunk in to about half size. This has been a long time in the making, and a good end to a sad season since the mother of these guys died eggbound.

I've always been interested in rosaliae. Very cool looking ratsnake. Glad there are some breeders out there to make sure they're around when I have room for a new project (very selfish of me).

113 days! Wow that took a while! What temps were they seeing? Too bad about the mother. Hope one is a female for you.

Good luck and enjoy the new generation.

I always wanted to get into those. How many did you hatch?
Very under rated snakes.

the mother died egg bound with 4 more eggs in her. I am bummed but at least these little guys will live on.

I never realized those hatched out banded like that. Very cool.

Sorry about the mother. Really is sad. Congrats on the hatchlings though.

Congrats on the babies! I still have hopes to breed my pair in a year or two. Sorry again about your female, glad the eggs hatched out for you. I really like the juvenile pattern, great looking underated rat snakes.

Congrats again!
