Shedding beardies

What is shedding? I know they shed their skin, but why? Is this normal for them? My beardies are doing it every so often.

theyre growing! its like a snake, they shed their skin when it gets too tight and they have new skin under it. just make sure to mist ur beardies with water when their sheding, it helps the shedding process mroe comfortably for them.
