Where to buy a healthy frilly

ihilani13 Sep 24, 2005 11:15 AM

Since we lost our frilly(see help frilly dyint post), we are looking where to get another one. The original was from LLLReptile and they offered a discount on a new baby when they get any. Any input on other suppliers, I checked frilldragon, but they don't have any available. Thanks.

Any animal that you get from a pet shop will be "cb" in indonesia or where ever. These animals are all still imports and still need to be totally cleared with a vet. Best bet is to buy US cb babies. They are around; you just gotta be patient. You will pay more, but less vet bills. LLL are good guys, I would but from them again if they have what you looking for. I mmay have some Aussy stuff available in January; not for sure but probably. However these will be more expensive than even US cb new guineas.

I have had bad experiences with LLL... but it was with chameleons. They sold me 2 Jacksons with questionable health and gave me a ton of poor husbandry advice. (Granted, I should have been more educated before making a decision and I take full responsibility).
But that was just my experience...

Thanks Mizzy. I was looking at your site, we'll keep you in mind when we decide to try frillies again. For now money's an issue, so no new frilly for a while. =(
