really bad situation help

Well i was supposed to get my bangka blood today.But heres the bad part the guy shipping it to me got overnight by 1030 through dhl but he didnt realize that today is sat and so i called and my snake wont be here until monday its sitting in ohio right now i live in st louis so my question is do you guys think he'll be alright till monday the forecast for ohio is high in the low 80s and lows in the high sixtys he is in a insulated cardboard box in a snake bag.Im really stressing now.SO u think he'll be alright please give me an honest response. man that really sucks! that guy really blew it, if your snake isnt ok he needs to refund you the money. hopefully itll be alright though. I would give it a good long warm soak when it gets there.

I would hope its alright, tough to tell though. I would get on the phone with DHL and talk to the supervisor or whoever you can get your hands on and see if its ok if you go pick it up. Thats about all you can do.. Good luck

Sean, He should be fine, as far as the temps. go. I lost a hatchling that was only about a month old in 03, he just escaped from his shoe box, managed to get out of the snake room, and I found him in the basement under a dehumidifier six weeks later, freezing cold, but perfectly fine. Big country has him now.

Hey,
My honest opinion, is that the snake is going to be fine. The temps are not too hot, nor too cold. If it is being kept off of the ground, there should be no problem. It is probably up on some shelf, or indoors in their warehouse. I had a black blood male, go through similar circumstances and survive an ordeal in the back of a Fedex truck in the dead of winter.
