As of 3:15 here I see sunny skies and a little wind. I am not expecting much of anything here in the Austin area. Ya never know though. I haven't heard from Scott yet. He knows if the ca ca hits the fan he can come here. Tom Stevens

Record HEAT here in Corpus Christi today.....102F and no wind......LOL.....maybe when it cools off a bit I will take the boards off the windows and water the lawn since Rita decided not to water it for me......LOL

Well we made it through the storm with no problems. Power was out for a little over 6 hrs but everything is fine now. It sounds like Beaumount got hit pretty bad. Plan on rdcruising the freeport area just as soon as everyone is back in their homes and off of the rds. I'm waiting to here from a few people just north of here but hopefully they are ok as well.

didnt even get any rain! bit of wind and power out for 10hrs. but aside from that alls good NWside houston,,,,,,,,thomas

Everything aok here! Left Calhoun co. @ 7:30 p.m. as the outer bands were rolling in. Not even a drop of rain in Corpus Christi and it is hotter than hades here Sat and Sun, record highs, only one doa cottonmouth on the way home, bummer, as I thought there would be a massive movement to high ground.
