Well, you could always put her with an eager fellow and see if any serpentine *sparks* fly
Or....most all vets have ultrasounds and that would be a way you could see 'what be hap'nin'. If that swelling is follicles maturing, forget the weather, and put a male or two with her. They will tell you if she's doing anything. I missed on a couple of girls before because I didn't think it was the right time of year and didn't have males with them. However, I'm pretty new at this and my boas don't know they are suppposed to do things according to seasons. My snakelings and I are blundering along in blissful ignorance. The ultrasound just gives me a view of what they are doing - on the inside - and maybe it will prevent me from missing anymore growing follicles. Good luck with her!
Sympathetic feeding.....haha....I like that
>>things the old fashioned way and just keep an eye on this girl.
>>I nearly sold her about a week ago...glad that it didn't go through...
>>She hasn't eaten in awhile (is usually streamlined), but I just took her out for a photo shoot - wouldn't you know she's in the blue...but, she also looks like she just ate...It hasn't really begun to cool down here yet, not until Dec-Jan, so I'm not for sure that she is going into a pre-ov swell (your machine would do wonders here), Perhaps it is just a coincidence or she is suffering sympathetic feeding (bad joke), but it is certainly worth a watch...
