Newly acquired corns......

jlassiter Sep 24, 2005 11:12 PM

I really never owned any cornsnakes, but when my buddy called me over to check out what he produced I couldn't resist....

He bred a male Ghost corn to a Creamsicle female.....
He got a very variable clutch of morphs.
The three he held back were all Hurricane Motleys. One was anery, one was sunglow and the other was a redder than average normal....

What is the normal expected outcome from a Cream to Ghost pairing?

Thanks,
John Lassiter

Ghost x Cream = Emoryi Hybrids het Amel Hypo Anery

Evidently the Ghost was het Amel and the Cream was het Anery

However, the breeder should market the hatchlings as what they are...A hybrid...

Of course....
Certainly the word Cream should be in the title somewhere to let buyers know that there is Emoryi blood in the mix....
Thanks for your insight.

I think they both must be het motley also.
So that would be a ghost het amel het motley and a cream het anery het motley.

At least that is what I would think to have the results mentioned and pictured

That would be correct...

I had forgotten the poster hadn't mentioned Motleys in the clutch...
