For those of you who still like "normals"........

gray Sep 25, 2005 05:49 AM

Yesterday was a perfectly overcast day so I decided to distract myself from the normal cleaning routine and enjoy some photography. I finally got some photos of Bianca that I am pleased with. I have tried to describe this boa to people many times but I never felt like the photos gave a true appreciation for her uniqueness. Keep in mind that she is 4.5 years old in these photos and about 6.5' in length. She gave me a Jungle litter in May. I only released one Jungle and one normal from that litter and now I'm even questioning the wisdom of that. I love this animal. What I really like is how the tail bands are solid bright orange without the usual mottleing (sp?)of black or faded scales. The tail saddles also have the heavy black border that makes the color even more impressive. Anyway, here are some photos. If you dare, choose the link at the bottom to see all of them. As usual, I went overboard......can't help it.

Many, many photos of Bianca

I'm so pleased I was able to get the normal male you parted with ...sure wish I could have afforded that Jungle...but, hopefully you will be more inclined to part with another next year.

Love that tail! Its so clean and washed out... reminds me of bcc but with bci coloration. Her undertone is amazing. Truly an exceptional animal... which seems to be quite common in your collection .

to me, she is the perfect "normal" candidate to breed to a Jungle. I can see how your babies turned out so nice. She has many of the color attributes of that morph.....and, what great condition she is in!
