Yesterday was a perfectly overcast day so I decided to distract myself from the normal cleaning routine and enjoy some photography. I finally got some photos of Bianca that I am pleased with. I have tried to describe this boa to people many times but I never felt like the photos gave a true appreciation for her uniqueness. Keep in mind that she is 4.5 years old in these photos and about 6.5' in length. She gave me a Jungle litter in May. I only released one Jungle and one normal from that litter and now I'm even questioning the wisdom of that. I love this animal. What I really like is how the tail bands are solid bright orange without the usual mottleing (sp?)of black or faded scales. The tail saddles also have the heavy black border that makes the color even more impressive. Anyway, here are some photos. If you dare, choose the link at the bottom to see all of them.
