few question

i just got a 5' 6" E.coachwhip and i put in a 300 gallon tank i live in south floida and was wonder what should I put in my tank for a habitat?
should i try to keep it wet?
plants?
does it need to have sunlight or shade?
any other suggestion will help and ill try to get some pictures of it soon.

Give it a piece of bark to hide under. A bottom medium of aspen shavings or cypress mulch will do well. EC's are uplnd snakes so you want his home to be dry. water bowl - yes. No need to pay special attention to temps (except winter).

Haven't seen a wild one in many a year (S. Fla resident here).
