I was in a local pet store getting my girlfried some food for her Red-Eared Slider, when i see one of the workers holding this big beautiful normal columbian, I asked What he was doing with her and he said he was just checking her out, 7 preceeded to tell me what happened...the day before they found this big boa (big like 15 to 20 lbs.) wadded up into a normal size back pack with a note that said "I can no longer take care of my boa."
I said i have the cage space are you giving her away? The dude replied no, I will sell her to you for $90-. After a quick call to my friend Mike (Thanks Again Bro!) I brought her home. She is in quarentine for the next couple of months as i have seen too many bad symptoms at this pet store. She is in a BoaPhile 4X2X2 and seems as though she could use some more space. i am glad i bought them with double heat and the expandable end option.
The first night I brought her home she drank for like 10 to 15 minuts on and off, she has eaten, and is in the blue for a shed. She appears to be healthy, time will tell, and she seems to have an awesome disposition. Also for a big boa she has a lot of pink on her belly scales that creep up her sides, it looks white in the below pics. I will be breeding her later this season as long as she seems healthy to sy possible super salmon male & we shall see what happens!
