milk snake or corn snake

gianfra Sep 25, 2005 03:54 PM

I was wondering if you guys can help me choose between a corn or a milk snake.
I have a ball pithon en like the fact that ther are really easy to hande and calm,
My question is; is the corn or the milk snake a restless snake or which one do you guys think is easier to keep and in the future to breed?
Thanks

Milks are generally not very calm. Corns are extremely calm and tolerant. Get used to the corn and then get a milk later when you are less inclined to care about the temperament.

Milksnakes, when young, are pretty restless, and I have a few different types, but some milks, like my hondurans are a little restless now, will be more calm as they get older. Cornsnakes are pretty good from the beginning. After owning 2 hondurans, I will definately be getting more. Good Luck! Derek

I agree with the other people who posted replies. There are few milks that are tame as babies. I've found Nelson's to be one of the better choices as a first milk snake.
