potted plants for JCP

Hi i just recently purchased a JCP and was wondering if i should worry about the fertilizers in potting soil for the plants i plan to but in her cage? I appreciate any responses. Thank you

Yes, in my opinion, you should be concerned about chemical fertilizers and pesticides in potted plants you put into your JCP cage. I have potted plants in my JCP cage and I got some of them from BlackJungle 's website, they sell terrarium plants that are safe, but are kind of expensive. They have a great selection, and very carefully wrapped and shipped everything. Afterwards I found a local plant nursery that is all organic, no pesticides or chemical fertilizers and bought plants from them, and didn't have to pay the high shipping costs. I also bought a organic ferilizer that I mix with water and spray mist onto the plant leafs once a week.
