leopard burm

BigHaze Sep 25, 2005 06:27 PM

I realy hate to ask, as I should know, but hay I don't so I'll ask.

What is a leopard burm ? I have always thought it was a homozygous lab, homozygous green, is that right?

yes a leopard is a double recessive gene combination of the green and labyrinth. todd

Thanks.

I saw one for sale on another site, and when I saw the price I thought may-be it was something else.

Anyway, Thanks.

There is a lot of debate about what leopard burms actually are. Some people in the classifieds have been claiming they are green/labs, but I see very little to no green influence in the ones posted. The heads and color look completely normal, and the pattern only differers with the spots being reduced. I don't seem much of what I would call labyrinth influence either So, I my self am very skeptical of that claim. There are a few more 100% het green/labs out there now so hopefully this will be proven out one way or another in the next couple years.
