Hey everybody just wanted to share some good news. I saw a add in the paper and went to see a 30 dollar ball python. Well that 30 dollar ball was a 1724g 4 foot 3 inch beast!!! She has eaten 3 med rats for me already and looks great. Now i need to find a morph so i can catch some of you guys and girls. Later and thanks for looking

I was at a show about a week ago, saw someone walking around with a giant BP. I asked her if it was a girl, and she said yes. I told her I would give her $30 for it and if it was not a female she would have to buy it back. She agreed. I took it to my friend and he probed it as a female... the next person tried to pop it and said female. The lady I bought it from left, and I was feeling really good about this big lady... right up until another person came over and with no problem at all popped HIM. Oh well, $30 for a giant male wasnt bad. Sold him to someone else for the $30 the next day.

I need to get better at probing. The two people who said it was a female have probed and popped thousands of snakes. My new rule is its not a female till it lays eggs, its a male if I can probe it as one or pop it.

The guy i got it from is a school teacher in town here and i think he just didnt know the prices of females because he had a nice big male that was also 30 dollars he said this female gave him 9 eggs last year but he did know how to incubate right and they went bad after he opened them the yoke was dried up. Guess we will see in a few months.

Isn't it a strange feeling when you walk in and see the snake and say to yourself "Please oh please let it be a female!!!", then you probe it out and you get 4 scales!
