Have you tried soaking your iguana in the tub with warm water? I have heard that warm water soaking will sometimes help them if they are "bound up"

If it is an adult female, she could be forming eggs in her abdomen. A year ago i had that problem with Sunshine. Luckily, she re absorbed them and we had no further problems. Sometimes, though, the eggs will have to be surgically removed if she is egg bound. Xrays would be able to show if that is the problem. I would try my best to find a vet....even if it is not a reptile vet. They will do their best to help i am sure.

Could be your Iguana has an impaction. What kind of substrate do you use? How old is he/she? In any case you need to find a vet right away. JN
