Catchy, isn't it? I just wanted anyone expert on African clawed frogs to post any helpful, care information or websites about raising these little critters. I have three of them, and am beginning to enjoy them. But I'm not sure how to take care of these fellas, they're so much like fish.

Mind you, the ones I have are tiny. They eat water pellets right now, 'Frog and Tadpole Bites'.

good filtration is important. i would use a whisper. the model would epend on the gallonage and whether you can have it hang outside the tank o rif you need it in the tank. pellets are fine, i wouldnt use live food becaue they can introduce disease and arent very nutritionally balanced. i use pvc corners and connectors as hides. i dont use gravle so that there is no risk of them eating it and getting impacted. lighting doesnt really matter. i havent noticed a difference in whether they are kept under no light or full light, either way they should have somewhere to hide. i havent used heaters and they should tolerate room temp but it seems that they do best at about 76F. if you have any other specific questions just post them.
