Odd anole species

traceh Sep 25, 2005 08:59 PM

Anyone ever work with any odd species of anoles? I am not too interested in the common species like Cuban knights, greens, etc. I am thinking of getting one of those new Exo Terra cages and can't decided between a Rhampholeon chameleon colony or some uncommon anoles.

Unfortunately there are more people talking about anoles than working with them.I have around 20 species of anole and can tell you there are only a handful of dedicated hobbyists in the U.S.I will be posting pics of various species I breed.some are more colorful than any species of lizard I have ever seen, and I have seen more than most.I would personally choose anoles.I keep a few Chameleons so I am not being biased.Anoles are easy to keep and breed,I don't know why people don't have more success.I breed species that either noone else has or very few have.
