I just worked a deal on a 4'-4.5' Ball Python from a local pet store that had recieved it as trade. The guys there at the store told me it was a male. But, I kept looking at this snake, whom BTW is thicker than a can of soda and could easily take an xlg rat,and had my doubts so I probed him/her. The snake probed out 7 subscales on one side and about 3-4 on the other side. I probed the snake many times (about 6 total) and got the same results. Is this a female? It has a fairly good size head and fairly small spurs. I have not seen any plugs either.
Thanks
Jenny
