Gotta tell you man, i know how you feel... hopefully you find her, i lost about 3-4 snakes in my life time all of which eventually turned up (not always a happy ending) honestly you'll need to get something to take your mind off the situation

hope everything works out fine...

I had a friend here in VA lose a Cal king over the Winter. To his surprise... he found it under a board the following year near his yard. Looked fine and ate the next time he went to feed. So don't give up. You never know?

Lost snake blues? I have lost a few over the years. If your neighbors are not hysterical, I would tell them. One ignoramous chopped up a L.g. holbrooki with a hoe...but the others were helpful and they want to do the right thing, but you need to tell them what that is. On a happier note, I had a L.t.andesiana at liberty in rural coastal Ft. Bragg, CA. for over 18 months before my neighbor found her basking in a wood shed and called me. She had grown, had a stub tail and several small scars, probably feeding on deer mice and alligator lizards. Watch for basking in the morning Sun. Sorry for your loss...

Had a big eastern king M.I.A. for four months. Found him just feet away from where he escaped. Fat and happy. There is hope!
