escaped lizard

samson Jul 19, 2003 06:09 PM

right now im in the middle of tearing through my house (gently of course) insearch of my now free-roaming collared lizard (someone *cough* sister *cough* thought it would be cool to show it to her friends.. which of couse led to her not shutting the glass doors all the way and me now having to find my miaka..
anyone have any tips? ive already got a basking light shining on a rock in the living room (biggest area around, works well when you lose snakes, give ti a try for lizards) but im concerned that the airconditioning may have left her too cold to move, or sent her hiding in a place that i wont find

Been a long long day, back to searching now

you could try leaving out food in a dish or water....but really you just have to be patient and very careful

Do you have flour under the lamps? Try a couple around the house, all with flour, If he goes under them he'll leave a trail, even if you dont catch him basking. I don't know how acurate that method is, but it might help

no, but it is in the doorways, so if she moves from room to room at least ill be able to tell where shes been, and if shes left that room
