hi i am relatively new to the herp keeping world, and i am not sure how to treat a purlapse. i saw the post on the purlapsed corn, but i want to be sure of what i am doing
i weas away for 3 days and this morning i noticed my adult male bp had a purlapse.
he is housed with a female, and has been copulating like mad for at least 2 months.
i keep them on a carpet with a bowl large enough to curl up in.
and a warm and cold hide i use a exotera heat mat under the cage at the warm end.
i have heard of soaking the snake in sugar water, and i wanted to know if this works and what concentration of sugar to use.
should i use some ky jelly instead? or is petroleum jelly better?
of a posible helpful note, i may have accidentally separated them when i tryed to pick him up. they were both hiding on hte warm end of the tank
