Super Pastel after first shed

kevintat2 Sep 26, 2005 06:16 PM

They just came out of shed today and are looking great. I had great odds on this clutch 7 eggs, 4 supers 2.2, and 3 pastels 2.1 The first pic is of a male, and the last pic is a female. Thanks for looking.

Nice. You did luck out big time. Take it from a guy who's hatched out 19 super egss with only 0.2 Supers, 8 Pastels, and 9 normals.

They are nice looking too! Congrats... Oz

that makes about the right amount of sense but a pastel x pastel creating those numbers is amazing.

Patel x Pastel he sired another clutch to a normal and gave me all pastels, so I have ? it myself. He is a looker, he might just be an ugly super, but I bought him as a pastel. He is BHB line and the female was Bell line.

May have been sold as a Pastel male rather than a Super Male if from a Pastel x Pastel OR Super Pastel x Pastel clutch.
Do you know?

Brian Barczyk at BHB produced him, and I think he would have known if it was a super. I think I just got lucky on the two clutches, but I will be keeping this male and breeding him this season to find out for sure.
