How old do Columbian Boas "Males" need to be to mate?

I have an 8 ft female albino and I just aqcuired a male that is roughly 3-1/2 ft long and 28 months old.

Would this male be able to breed her?

Some people have told me that he can, but the male looks like a dwarf compared to the female.

I have bred many males at 18 months and around three feet.
Size of the female is not important, he'll breed her without a problem.
