Can I overdose?

lil_frogger2 Jul 19, 2003 08:11 PM

Hi, I'm using a UVB bulb, and my dragons get natural sunlight about every other day for about an hour. What should I use to dust their food? I've read you can overdose between the dusting, UVB, and sunlight and not to use dusting products with D3. Is that true? And what should I use to dust her crickets? Thanks.

my beardies get the same thing...natural sun and UVB from lighting. i use the sticky tounge farms Miner-All number 2. they have two formulas one for indoor use and one for outdoor. i figure with the constant exposure to natural sunlight for about an hour or so every couple days id rather be safe and not OD the D3. but a friend of mine uses the number one recipe and uses about the same routine and gets no adverse results...so i really dont know...hope this helps a little.
