I think it's a snake Yup. I'm pretty sure it's a snake, make sure you have anti-venom ready in case you get snake-bit.

Looks hypo to me, maybe an island cross??

I see a little bit of Corn Island in there.........

ChrisGilbert Sep 27, 2005 04:50 PM

Honduran imperator.
It is possible there is Hog Isle blood, it is not a morph, but maybe a result of a Hog X Hypo breeding.

If it is a morph, it would have to be a low expression Honduran Hypomelanistic.

Hoduran, but man that tail looks to have some Hog influence. Hard to tell these days.

I'd be interested in seeing the other two. Is that the male? I'll try and get some pics up of my final holdback trio later today if I can get some decent shots. They are realy coming along nicely and I'm still not going to tell everyone else what it is. Sorry...

Hoppy Sep 28, 2005 03:33 PM

That is the male. He is just stunning I can't believe the color chage in these guys. This is his early Morning color. He does not get as dark as the females (I am sure it is because of his hypo Nature) But the females will turn a beautiful Chocolate Brown at night and get almost as light in the morning.
These are beautiful Snake
Thank Steve

Well to all of you guys below who know Steve then you know what this beautiful snake is. It is a Honduran, no Hogg influence, just a beautiful example of a Main Land Honduran, supe Light nad I am betting on being Hypo to boot! Here is another picture, check out those eyes!.
Many of you guessed that it had some Hogg in it, which it does not (I am sure Steve can Vouch for that as he produced these guys! LOL) But very similar to the Hogg Island Boas, these to have dramatic Color Changes. They will go from this beautiful Light Color to a Beautiful Dark Chocolate Color at night, but they still retain these beautiful eye colors. they tend to be a bit grumpy at times but can be handeled, and they have the beautiful orange pink bellies of their Fire Belly Island Cousins!.
Thanks to all for looking and thanks to Steve for selling me such a great group of them!
