My bro breeds African cichlids he told me to use stress coat in my tank to help the plants out he said it would put vitiams in the water for the plants. He told me to ask you all first before doing it.

I use Stress coat to dechlorinate my water, but not sure of any benefits to the plants. The biggest thing with Stress-coat is that it contains aloe vera which is great for helping fish replace their slime coats. I use an organic fertilizer that I purchase at the local hydroponics store called Liquid Karma. It is basically super-concentrated blackwater. I used it in my planted aquariums for a long time as well and got great results.
