today I bought a FBT from the pet store, and in the pet store they had them living with anoles and tree frogs. As soon as i got home i look up info about FBT since i dont know much about toads or frogs. I noticed that several other people in the forum said that it is a no no to have FBT live with any other animals! I have in my tank a very tropical set up with high branches for the anoles and water dishes at the bottom for the toad. I also regularly mist the tank. Is this still a bad set up for them both to live togeather, and is it very likly that the FBT's toxin will kill the anoles or other frogs sharing the same tank?
please help me because i have no other spot for the FBT if they cant live togeather and ill have to buy another tank.
please let me know ASAP because i dont want any harm to come of eather animal.

Dont mix animals.

The FBTs toxic secretions can harm or kill the anoles. And when the anoles start to eat, they could bite the FBT; that would leave the anole with a very high percent chance of dying.

Tree frogs are the same way they are effected by the poison. FBTs are aggressive and they even bite one another when eating, so this would be very stressfull to other animals in the tank.

to avoid and harm, do not house them together.

And here comes the pet store slander. Most pet stores dont care about any thing other then moving their product. To save money, and/or to impress others to have a community tank, theyll house many animals in one tank.
